Pixalate has released a 2025 Pre American Football IVT Investigation Report that analyzed invalid traffic (IVT) on the NFL/ESPN CTV apps during American football season. This analysis was limited to US traffic from the NFL and ESPN CTV apps across Roku, Fire TV, Samsung Smart TV, and Apple TV platforms.

Delisted Mobile Apps - January 2025
Apple App Store delistings dropped 93% month-over-month, while Google Play Store delistings increased by 22%. We also released the January 2025
Delisted Mobile Apps Reports, highlighting apps that are no longer available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
In January 2025, approximately 24k apps were delisted from the Apple App Store, a sharp decline from 337k in December 2024. Meanwhile, 82k apps were removed from the Google Play Store, up from 64k the previous month.

Programmatic Ad Seller Misrepresentation - Q4 2024
39% of mobile app traffic failed Pixalate’s SCO Verification due to unauthorized sellers. Our team examined unauthorized sellers in the open programmatic advertising supply chain across desktop and mobile web, mobile app, and CTV app traffic.
For these reports, we analyzed 10B+ programmatic ad impressions containing the OpenRTB SupplyChain Object (SCO) during Q4 2024. Among other findings, we discovered that 10% of web traffic failed Pixalate’s SCO Verification due to unauthorized sellers, along with 39% of mobile app traffic and 21% of CTV app traffic.
