Let’s find out more about Patrick McClure, Data Analyst, in his own words:
Pixalate: Where do you come from?
Patrick McClure: I'm from Sacramento, CA, and did my undergraduate studies at MIT, where I majored in Physics with a focus in Astronomy. I did a good amount of research with the astronomy department during my undergraduate studies and discovered how much I like data analytics. Since I graduated in 2018, I've worked as an engineering associate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where I worked on a few projects with data management, analysis, and visualization as the cornerstones of my role.
Pixalate: Why did you join Pixalate?
Patrick: Pixalate fulfills such a necessary role in the world of advertising/marketing technology. As a data analyst, I immediately connected with the idea of using Pixalate's technology to uncover evidence of fraud and protect our clients. I'm very excited to dive into this position and help the data team become even stronger.
Pixalate: What do you see as the future of Pixalate?
Patrick: I see Pixalate continuing its tremendous growth into the future. The ad tech world is rapidly growing, and with Pixalate's ever-improving set of products, IVT-detecting algorithms, and talented team members, we will keep making powerful impressions in this field.

Per the MRC, “'Fraud' is not intended to represent fraud as defined in various laws, statutes and ordinances or as conventionally used in U.S. Court or other legal proceedings, but rather a custom definition strictly for advertising measurement purposes. Also per the MRC, “‘Invalid Traffic’ is defined generally as traffic that does not meet certain ad serving quality or completeness criteria, or otherwise does not represent legitimate ad traffic that should be included in measurement counts. Among the reasons why ad traffic may be deemed invalid is it is a result of non-human traffic (spiders, bots, etc.), or activity designed to produce fraudulent traffic.”
