The number of apps in the Roku Channel Store rose 139% since 2018, and the number of Roku apps supporting programmatic advertising jumped 24% in 2019 alone. But what are the top Roku apps for programmatic advertising?

In 2019, the top 10 Roku apps in terms of programmatic ad volume, as measured by Pixalate, were:

  1. Hulu
  2. Sling TV
  3. Pluto TV
  4. FilmRise
  5. Tubi TV

Several news apps, including Newsy and CBS News, also ranked in the top 10.
