MRT Insights allow you to view data regarding mobile apps, CTV apps, and domains from various data, overall quality, and risk perspectives.

The level of granularity also extends to regional (Global, North America, APAC, LATAM, EMEA) and country-level breakdowns to give you a better view of traffic quality for particular market segments. 

Mobile App and CTV App Insights

Insights in the MRT for Mobile App and CTV App share certain similarities when it comes to data points / widgets presented. 

However, CTV Apps include certain widgets that are not present for Mobile Apps such as "App Spoofing" and "Channels" in the case of MVPD apps.

  • Risk Overview: Pixalate's unique advertising risk assessment is based on blended risk factors, including brand safety, invalid traffic and ad inventory
  • Brand Safety Risk
    • Description - The overall Brand Safety risk to advertisers based on textual analysis of the app's descriptive text.
    • Content - The combined risk to advertiser Brand Safety, from all risk factors detailed in the Brand Safety Risk section, based on both descriptive text and content analysis.
  • IVT: The overall percentage of Invalid Traffic (IVT) associated with advertising transactions for the app. All IVT calculations are derived from standardized definitions of invalid traffic maintained by the Media Rating Council, Inc. (MRC), Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), and Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG).
  • Viewability: The average viewability percentage across all display advertising placements in the app, consistent with the MRC/IAB definition of a viewable display impression (i.e., 50% or more of ad creative pixels were present for at least one continuous second, etc.).
