Pixalate is on a hiring spree across data science, engineering, product, customer success, and sales. In a new series of blogs, we introduce our prominent new team members who are pushing Pixalate forward every day with their unique backgrounds, skills, and experience.
Let’s find out more about Hamza Macasindil, Software Engineer, in his own words:
Pixalate: Where do you come from?
Hamza Macasindil: Before joining Pixalate, I worked as Engineering Manager at TrustArc, managing multiple teams of developers working on SaaS solutions for Web Privacy Management, such as the Assessment Manager and Cookie Consent Manager products.
My role includes helping the leads with the technical design, reviewing the actual implementation, and would sometimes work on the implementation itself. I started my career with TrustArc, formerly TRUSTe and have worked on different roles in multiple projects ranging from FullStack Developer, Scrum Master, Project Manager, and Engineering Manager.
Currently, I am working as a Software Engineer on the Engineering team helping with the Media Ratings Terminal, Analytics Dashboard, and other projects. My responsibilities include developing, testing, and troubleshooting solutions based on Product and UX requirements. It also includes suggesting solutions and optimizations.
Pixalate: Why did you join Pixalate?
Hamza: Since I am familiar with Pixalate technology stack and solutions, I find this a good transition to bring value. Also, I had worked with some colleagues who are now at Pixalate.
Pixalate: What do you see as the future of Pixalate?
Hamza: Joining Pixalate has been an eye-opener for me on how vast the scope of the advertising industry is. All of the products that I have worked on previously had been focused on web and browser technologies.
Working with Pixalate has introduced me to the other media forms where advertising is thriving, such as mobile in-app and Connected TV (CTV), and I see more opportunities to grow for Pixalate.

Per the MRC, “'Fraud' is not intended to represent fraud as defined in various laws, statutes and ordinances or as conventionally used in U.S. Court or other legal proceedings, but rather a custom definition strictly for advertising measurement purposes. Also per the MRC, “‘Invalid Traffic’ is defined generally as traffic that does not meet certain ad serving quality or completeness criteria, or otherwise does not represent legitimate ad traffic that should be included in measurement counts. Among the reasons why ad traffic may be deemed invalid is it is a result of non-human traffic (spiders, bots, etc.), or activity designed to produce fraudulent traffic.”
