New research into the state of Connected TV (CTV) device market share reveals that Apple’s share in North America declined to a 12-month low of 4.6% as of the end of Q2 2023

The report reveals the top CTV devices across key regions (North America, APAC, and LATAM) based on their share of open programmatic ad traffic, as measured by Pixalate. 

Key findings:

  • Roku dominates with 46% of CTV programmatic advertising market share in North America, but it’s down from 50% in Q1 2023
  • Samsung devices surged in the LATAM market, rising to hold a 46% market share in the region as of the end of Q2 2023
  • Samsung devices also led in APAC and EMEA with a device market share of 23% and 34%, respectively
