Hulu topped Pixalate's Publisher Trust Index rankings for Movies & TV apps on both the Roku and Amazon Fire TV apps stores in North America in May 2021. Hulu achieved it by excellent performance in a range of quality metrics, including the maximum score of 99 in Popularity and Ad Density categories across both app stores.
Competition among CTV Movies & TV apps regarding their ad quality is intense, and there are numerous worth considering from an advertiser’s perspective. For example, fuboTV excelled in Amazon Fire TV ranking by scoring at least 95 across all metrics. Likewise, in the Roku rankings, Sling TV reached the second position by a versatile performance, including an outstanding score of 97 in the Invalid Traffic (IVT) category.
XUMO reached the top 10 of Amazon Fire TV with a strong score (95) in the Ad Density metric. XUMO jumped from the 35th position in the April rankings to 10th position in May 2021.
