GasBuddy reached the top of both Google Play Store and Apple App Store rankings for the Travel category in May 2021 in North America on Pixalate’s Publisher Trust Index. The app performed well, especially in Apple’s classification, where GasBuddy scored more than 90 in Invalid Traffic, App-Ads.txt, and Viewability.

The incoming summer holiday season results in increased interest in traveling, which affects higher usage of travel apps.

FlightRadar24 was closely behind GasBuddy. The popular flight tracker showed versatility across measured metrics, including an excellent score of 99 in the Brand Safety category on both the Apple and Google rankings.

It’s also worth noting that some apps with excellent ad quality are quite niche. The perfect example is Convert Any Unit Lite scoring at least 90 in all metrics — except Popularity (38) — in the Apple App Store ranking.
